 一、暨南大学简介

 暨南大学是中国第一所由政府创办的华侨学府。“暨南”二字出自《尚书·禹贡》：“东渐于海，西被于流沙，朔南暨，声教讫于四海。”意即面向南洋，面向海外，将中华文化远播到五洲四海。学校目前是中央统战部、教育部、广东省人民政府共建的国家“双一流”建设高校，直属中央统战部管理。素有“华侨最高学府”之称的暨南大学，恪守“忠信笃敬”之校训，注重以中华优秀传统文化培养造就人才。学校积极贯彻“面向海外，面向港澳台”的办学方针，建校至今，共培养了来自世界五大洲170多个国家和港澳台地区的各类人才50余万人，堪称桃李满天下。

 暨南大学化学与材料学院前身为1930年成立的化学系，2016年4月由化学系、材料科学与工程系整合建院，2017、2019年分别增设超分子配位化学研究所、实验中心，2023年先进耐磨蚀及功能材料研究院并入，现有两系、一院、一所、一中心。化学、材料学两个学科分别于2012年、2016年进入ESI全球前1%行列，截至2025年5月，化学排名全球前1.8‰，材料科学1.07‰；化学学科 ESI 全球排名为245位，材料科学学科为163位。在2024年公布的泰晤士高等教育中国学科评级中，化学及材料科学与工程得分均为A-。学院现有教职工159人，专任教师中拥有一大批优秀教学科研人才，其中包括中国工程院院士1人，中国科学院院士1人、国家杰出青年基金获得者2人、“万人计划”人才2人、享受“国务院政府特殊津贴”专家2人、“南粤百杰”人才1人、国家级青年人才4人和广东省教学名师1人等。根植于“侨校+名校”的暨南沃土，历经数代化材人的努力，化学与材料学院已形成从学士、硕士到博士的完整人才培养体系，设有化学学科博士后流动站1个，化学一级学科博士点1个，化学一级学科硕士点1个，材料科学与工程一级学科硕士点1个、材料与化工专业硕士学位授权点1个。目前，学院有在校学生1323人，其中本科生598人，研究生725人。除了保送北京大学、清华大学、复旦大学等国内“985”高校读研外，学院大批毕业生被英国牛津大学、剑桥大学、帝国理工学院、加拿大麦吉尔大学、香港科技大学等录取，前往国（境）外知名高校深造。办学至今学院共培养来自世界五大洲的各类人才1万余人，可谓俊彦播四海、桃李遍五洲。

 学院科研成果突出。2016年成立至今，学院主持承担包括国家自然科学基金杰出青年基金、重点项目、原创探索计划项目、国家重点研发计划、广东省杰出青年项目、广东省重大基础与应用基础研究项目等科研项目近400项；在包括Nature, Nat Chem Eng, Nat Commun，Chem, Cell Biomater, Cell Rep Phys Sci, Sci Adv, J Am Chem Soc, Angew Chem, Adv Mater等国内外重要学术期刊发表论文超1800篇，专著20余本，授权专利232项，科研成果奖励31项，主持制修订国家标准10项、行业标准9项、团体标准14项。

 同时，学院重视研究生培养与学术交流，已与英国伯明翰大学、香港大学、香港科技大学等海外高校在学术交流、教师互访、学生交换方面建立了长期合作。学院年均承办/参办国内外学术会议10余次，年均举办“新化学新材料”学术论坛45次，教师每年参加国内外学术会议约80人次，每年约30%的研究生参加国内外学术交流。2023年3月，我院成功承办第十二届“华港杯”广东大学生材料创新大赛。来自广东省内外高校的领导、老师和参赛队伍代表们近1000人齐聚暨南，共启盛会，该大赛共有省内外32所高校及研究院所共417支队伍报名参加，规模空前影响巨大。2023年11月，我院承办由国家自然科学基金委员会化学科学部主办的“2023年度合成化学青年学者学术交流研讨会”，邀请全国包括中国科学院院士在内的50余名知名专家学者和300多名合成化学领域的青年学者共同参加本次学术会议。2024年11月，我院成功举办两期粤港澳新质生产力论坛，邀请包括中国科学院院士在内的50余名知名专家学者和30余位大陆及港澳知名学者和行业专家作大会和分会报告。2024年12月，我院承办“2024年广东省研究生学术论坛-先进化学与材料分论坛”，邀请多位化学与材料领域包括国家杰出基金获得者，国家高层次人才在内的著名专家学者及研究生参会并做报告，分析、交流化学与材料领域最新科研进展和研究成果。2025年3月，我院承办教育部化学实验教学研究虚拟教研室华南教研组第三届实验教学研讨会，通过学术报告、分组研讨和实地参访相结合的方式持续引领全国实验教学改革，为化学实验教学高质量发展注入新动能，来自全国30所高校的70余名专家学者参加会议，共商化学实验教学高质量发展大计。
