Overview 总则

Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai JiaoTong University (Antai College) and WorldQuant Virtual Research Center will be launching the Antai College Financial Quantitative Investment Research Competition, which is part of the WorldQuant Challenge.

交大安泰和WorldQuant的VRC项目将举行一场金融量化投资研究大赛。这也是世坤挑战计划的一部分。

The WorldQuant Challenge provides interested candidates with an opportunity to test their ideas and develop high-quality financial market signals (alphas) using WebSim, WorldQuant’s web-based simulation platform. Qualified candidates earn points by creating alphas — and these points can lead to Bronze, Silver and Gold status. Individuals who achieve Silver and Gold status may be considered for research consulting opportunities with WorldQuant.

世坤挑战计划通过WebSim平台为那些对量化分析感兴趣的候选人提供一些测试他们的量化投资想法和创建高质量的金融市场信号（alpha）的平台。其中，WebSim是一个基于网络对数据进行拟合的平台。合格的候选人通过建立alpha来积累积分——这些积分可以引领他们到达一个铜，银，金的会员级别。个人达到银或者金级别可以有机会参与WorldQuant的顾问项目。

Registration: Nov 15, 2018 10:00 AM CST to Mar 1, 2019 10:00 PM CST.

Competition: Apr 8, 2019 12:00 am CST to Apr 26, 2019 11:59 PM CST

To give participants in the competition an exciting opportunity to learn about quantitative finance and data science, we’ll be organize the following training sessions;

1.     Introduction to WebSim: Mar 2, 2019 to Mar 31, 2019.

How Antai College  Financial Quantitative Investment Research Competition Works
交大安泰金融量化投资研究大赛运行细则

The Antai College Financial Quantitative Investment Research Competition makes the WorldQuant Challenge even more exciting by offering the top 10 scorers the opportunity for each to receive a one-time special stipend once each qualifies to be a Research Consultant.
交大安泰金融量化投资研究大赛会使得WorldQuant的挑战项目更加具有意义。因此，所有成为合格顾问的前10名竞赛获奖者都将以资鼓励。

• Rank 1: The top ranked participant in the Antai College Financial Quantitative Investment Research Competition will be considered for a one-time special stipend of up to USD $750 (one member) in our discretion.
• 第一名：交大安泰金融量化投资研究大赛的第一名将获得750美金的奖励。
• Ranks 2-4: The next 3 ranked individuals whose final total score ranks second through fourth in the Antai College Financial Quantitative Investment Research Competition will each be considered for a one-time special stipend of up to USD $150  in our discretion.
• 第二名至第四名：交大安泰金融量化投资研究大赛的第2至4名将获得150美金的奖励。
• Ranks 5-10: The next 6 ranked individuals whose final total score ranks fifth through tenth  in the Antai College Financial Quantitative Investment Research Competition will each be considered for a one-time special stipend of up to USD $75 in our discretion.
• 第五名至第十名：交大安泰金融量化投资研究大赛的第5至10名将获得75美元的奖励。
  

Note that only Alphas created, simulated and submitted on or after April 8, 2019 and before April 26, 2019, will be considered for Antai College Financial Quantitative Investment Research Competition scoring.
注意：所有在4月8日，2019年至4月26日，2019年生成的alphas 才能被认定为交大安泰金融量化投资研究大赛合格的策略
