To potential research students:

Our research group is looking for some energetic and hardworking students/researchers! Please send me an email for discussion.

If you are interested in optimization theory and various areas of algorithm design, such as：machine learning, computational geometry, signal processing, and algorithmic game theory.

Possible projects include:

Distributionally robust stochastic optimization.

Non-convex approaches to rank-constrained semidefinite programs.

Fast algorithms for big data analysis.

For students who havea strong background in mathematics or theory, for example, students who have degrees in Mathematics and/or Statistics and/or Engineering- Computer Science, our research group is actively seeking these candidates for some very interesting research projects.

For those students who get an offer, you will have a monthly stipend between 17,800hkd – 25,100 hkd.

You should be a student of 985/211 University. The students who have any top conference paper or National scholarship are preferred.
