  Jienan Chen received the B.S. and Ph.D degrees in communication systems from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China in 2007 and 2014, respectively. He also worked in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA, as a visiting scholar in 2012 and 2014 and then a postdoctoral scholar at the University of North Texas in 2016. He is currently an Associate Professor with the National Key Laboratory of Science and Technology on Communications at the UESTC. He has published more than 50 papers on IEEE journal and conference. He also granted by multiple national grants, including NSFC and National key research and development program. He is currently an Associate Editor for Elsevier Digital Communication Network. He also served as symposium chair for Globalsip 2019 and TPC member for Globecom 2019. His research interests are on machine learning-based signal processing, artificial intelligence for communication and circuit-system design.
