The University is located at Kowloon Tong, a central location of Kowloon district. The Department of Biomedical Sciences was established by the University in January 2014 to develop strategic growth areas of life sciences. The Department is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and has recently recruited 30 top-notch researchers to our faculty. The Department also carries out internationally competitive and cutting edge research in biomedical sciences, promotes inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary collaborations, and facilitates the translation of basic research to industries. Our research focus/expertise of the current faculties include: (1) Cancer Biology; (2) Regenerative Medicine; (3) Neuroscience; (4) Nanomedicine; and (5) Microbiology. Entrance Requirements- Basic requirement: holds a Bachelor’s degree (first class honours or equivalent) or Master’s degree from a recognised university.
- English requirement: TOEFL 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based); or IELTS score of 6.5; or CET-6 score of 490 (on a case-by-case basis, not accepted for HKPFS applications).
